Controlled Thermal Resources Holdings (CTR) is at the forefront of innovating renewable energy and lithium extraction technologies. Their project, Hell's Kitchen Lithium Co. and Hell's Kitchen Power Co., situated in Imperial County, California, is set to redefine environmental benchmarks for battery-grade lithium products and renewable power generation. The Hell's Kitchen Lithium Co. aims to produce 25,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) by 2025 through direct lithium extraction and conversion processes. In complement, the Hell's Kitchen Power Co. will generate 49.9 megawatts of renewable electricity from a geothermal power plant, supporting both CTR's lithium operations and contributing clean energy to the California grid, aligning with the state's goal for 100% renewable energy by 2045. CTR integrates proven extraction technologies, environmental, and social compliance alongside expert engineering to achieve sustainable development and supply crucial materials and power for future technologies.
